The full course of treatment is usually carried out over 2 to 3 appointments spread over a period of 10 to 15 days, depending on the complexity of each case.
The short and clear answer is: no, it doesn’t hurt during the procedure and any discomfort afterwards is very manageable.
Nowadays, the placement of a dental implant is a guided, quick and fully controlled procedure.
For conventional dental implant treatment, it usually takes between 4 and 5 appointments spread over a few months, as the process is carried out in stages to ensure that the implant integrates perfectly with the bone (osseointegration).
At our clinic, we speak three languages fluently: Dutch, English and Spanish.
